14 Hands Wine has a longstanding partnership with the Kentucky Derby, which they wanted to talk about (understandably). However, the creative challenge for us was to create a series of videos, social bits and gifs that acknowledged the party and not the race. No mention of "jockeys," "race," "betting," and definitely not "horses." Oh and do it from concept to air in 4 weeks. We decided to go all-in on a party fantasy: what if opening 14 Hands Kentucky Derby blend turned any space into a Kentucky Derby party? But like a crazy, colorful, WTF kind of party.
We kept social simple, bright, and engaging by creating simple videos, cinemagraphs and stories.
